2009 Reunion

These pictures are from the luncheon at pier 21 in Halifax. This is where most of the immigrants entered into Canada from various countries by ship, including our very own Madge Wilson.

During the luncheon the grandchildren and great grandchildren of Force members helped to present a plaque about the FSSF. Speakers included Mary Bhagan and Gianni Blasi.

The lower photos are of a ceremony that we happened upon after the luncheon. The Major was there and we heard some amazing pipes.

The last photo in the group is of a certificate that was presented during a recent meeting with the FSSF vets.

After being stranded in Halifax due to Hurricane Bill, Robert Schober and I along with many others got an extra day to relax and chat with some of the men of the FSSF.
